dcs was founded back in 2002 by Mr. Cristian Dinca and started its activity in the university campus. A group of passionate but highly trained professionals, students at the same university, joined and formed a top experienced team of programmers and business coordinators.
Since then, dcs went through several important stages and grew high experience in travel technologies and software solutions for travel business. This business sector was very appealing for dcs since the beginning due to its complexity and challenges it had put its team on.
Since 2004 dcs started developing TINA ERP software for travel agencies, built in full web technologies, together with a top travel agency in Romania. The collaboration with the agents and their management was amazing, and the product evolved as a general usage application, business model adaptable, rather than a custom made program. This lead TINA to being a well known travel agency ERP in Romanian market and by 2006 it had already won most major travel agencies in Romania.
Due to application performance and flexibility to adapt to other markets, but also because of its support for deployment and maintenance offered by dcs team, a partnership was settled between Amadeus and dcs in 2006, Amadeus becoming the sole distributor of TINA across CESE region. As result, TINA was deployed to largest travel agencies in markets like Ukraine, Bulgaria, Latvia and is now ready for deployment in Russia, Hungary, Greece.
Besides TINA, dcs has developed other travel products like hotel booking engines and inventories and distribution software, as well as CMS and online travel websites for travel agencies.
During the past years of designing and building solutions for the travel industry, dcs developed high competence in travel business consultancy, offering today a complete package for its clients, from advice and consultancy, business opportunities and model improvements, selection of best fitting software solution, travel operational audit and follow-up.
