TINA Lite is a smaller more compact version of TINA. Basically, TINA Lite contains only the core part of TINA while items like corporate client profile, automatic segmentation, etc. were removed. The application is targeting a very specific segment of the market: the smaller travel agency that cannot afford to buy TINA and given its size does not need all the modules available inside TINA. As we are aware that a travel agency cannot grow over night, we have applied the same principal to TINA Lite. In this respect, the application is able to grow together with the travel agency. This is possible by adding inside the application any of the optional features that can transform TINA Lite into TINA.
Given the sustained evolution of travel services around the globe, as well as the fast expansion of the Internet (providing the travel agencies with new cheap sales channels) the old concept of having a very large travel agency in order to be able to service a large number of clients is slowly fading. Today, due to automatic handling of the processes inside the travel industry, even a small size travel agency is able to service a fairly large number of customers just by implementing the software necessary for the usage of the new sales channel.
