A brief history of dcs plus



  • Foundation of dcs plus by Cristian Dinca (its current CEO) 


  • Started the development of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically designed for the travel industry


  • TINA – the first full web based travel ERP was launched


  • Most of the top travel agencies inside the Romanian market were using TINA
  • Focusing on our home market, only 6 months after the initial launch, 8 top travel agencies were already using TINA
  • By June 2006, a smaller version of TINA was already available and adopted inside the Bulgarian market


  • Amadeus IT Group becomes the distributor of TINA in 32 markets across Europe
  • TINA makes its way into another market: Ukraine, once the implementation of Kiy Avia (one of the largest travel agencies in the region) is finalized; work is almost finished on TINA ver.2
  • Markets such as Hungary and Latvia were added to our portfolio


  • dcs plus enriches its product portfolio with two new products for travel players: TBS and AIDA
  • Serbia becomes part of our portfolio


  • The 'brother' product TBS gains market share rapidly, being already deployed to some major players in the local market  
  • Important industry players from Russia choose dcs plus technology


  • TBS product goes out of local market boundaries. AIDA starts to get clients in the local market and abroad
  • Our software solutions enter new markets: Estonia, Lithuania, Israel and France


  • Deployment of TBS and AIDA in more foreign markets through distribution agreements
  • New contracts signed in Cyprus; Deployment of TBS inside the Bulgarian market


  • Our 10th anniversary – a decade of passion and success stories

  • Launch of a new product - TRIP, an innovative B2C travel platform


  • TINA becomes the recommended mid-back office solution inside the Lufthansa City Center International franchising network
  • Launch of dcs plus BPO, the newest company of the group, created to complement dcs plus’ technology with advanced connected services
  • Important players from markets such as India, UAE and Italy decide to use dcs plus technology


  • Earlybird becomes shareholder in dcs plus company
